Library in a phone box – a brilliant use of space

This is the village library in Little Eaton.

Little Eaton Phone Box Library

It's a fascinating sign of people's increased flexibility: the phone booth is no longer necessary for its original purpose,  because nowadays, everyone has a mobile phone. At the same time, because people are better at communicating and collaborating, a village can come together to create its own library.

At Regus, we're always looking for ways to innovate in our use of space – that's why we're building business lounges at petrol stations, and replacing partitions with co-working - but I'm not sure we've ever got as much value out of such a tiny space as this.
